It’s going to be the first book to focus exclusively on the original protagonist trio – Percy Jackson, Annabeth and Grover since The Lightening Thief in 2005.

7. THE DEMIGOD FILES (#7) (2009)

It’s a collection of short stories set during the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. This book inclines more towards providing insight in individual demigod lives.

8. PERCY JACKSON AND THE SINGER OF APOLLO (#8) (2013)

Piper’s father has been missing for three days, and her vivid nightmares ushers her that he’s in terrible danger. But her boyfriend doesn’t recognize her anymore, and when a malicious storm and strange beings attack, she, Jason, and Leo are swept away to someplace called Camp Half-Blood!

Leo’s cabin at Camp Half-Blood is filled with new inventions and high tech weapons. What’s bothersome is the curse everyone keeps talking about, and that a camper’s gone missing. With all this going on, he doesn’t understand why everyone is saying they are related to some kinda Gods!

2. THE SON OF NEPTUNE (#2) (2011)

In the series’s second book, similar to what had happened to Jason in the first book, Percy Jackson has no recollection of his life, except for a name: Annabeth.

Percy is being chased by the Gorgon sisters, who are eagerly trying to kill him to avenge the death of their sister, Medusa, by him four years ago. Percy doesn’t remember killing Medusa, as he hardly remembers any of his past.

He escapes and stumbles upon an old lady named June. June gives him a choice: he can carry her to Camp Jupiter across the highway and Little Tiber to regain his memory and, eventually, save the world, or he can retreat to the safety of the sea and live a long, happy life. Percy chooses to carry her across the river, losing the Curse of Achilles as a result, making him vulnerable once again. Will he save the world or is it a dead end for him!

3. THE MARK OF ATHENA (#3) (2012)

Annabeth is about to be reunited with Percy Jackson after six months of being apart but Goddess Hera has other plans. It looks like Camp Jupiter is preparing for war.

As Annabeth and her friends Jason, Piper, and Leo fly in on the Argo II, she can’t blame the Roman demigods for thinking the ship is a Greek weapon. Hoping that the sight of their praetor Jason on deck will reassure the Romans that the visitors from Camp Half-Blood are coming in peace.

Everyone feels weighed down by the prophecy that will send seven demigods on a quest to find and close the gates of death. As the daughter of the goddess of war and wisdom, Annabeth knows she was born to be a leader, but never again does she want to be without Seaweed Brain by her side. Will they be able to accomplish their goal in the land of death where important discoveries, surprising sacrifices, and unspeakable horrors await.

This book has narrations from four different demigods turning the book into a classic page turner.

4. THE HOUSE OF HADES (#4) (2013)

At the end of The Mark of Athena, book 3, Annabeth and Percy tumble down into dark hole leading straight to the Underworld.

The other demigods have to put aside their sorrow and pursue Percy’s instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can battle their way through the Gaea’s forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea.

But if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape! They have no other options. If the demigods don’t succeed, Gaea’s forces will never die. They are running out of time. In a month, the Romans will march on Camp Half-Blood. A lot of things are at stake, will they be able to seal the doors of death!

5. THE BLOOD OF OLYMPUS (#5) (2014)

The two camp members have acquired positive results in their many quests, they still seem no closer to defeating Gaea.

Her giant’s army have risen, and they’re stronger than ever. They must be destroyed before the Feast of Spes, when Gaea plans to have demigods sacrificed in Athens as she needs their blood, the blood of Olympus in order to wake herself to full potential.

In the meantime, the Roman legion from Camp Jupiter, led by Octavian, is almost within striking distance raging for war.

The demigods have decided to take Athena Parthenos to Athens to use as a secret weapon, where it might be able to stop a war between the two camps. The Athena Parthenos will go west; the Argo II will go east. The gods, still suffering from multiple personality disorder, are useless. How can demigods hope to win against Gaea’s army of powerful giants? As dangerous as it sounds, they are heading towards Athens, they have no other choice. They have sacrificed too much already. And if Gaea wakes, it is game over for all.
